PROFESSIONAL CAREER IN DECORATIVE PAINTING

1999

First imitations with Kevin Mac Cloud's book on different wooden supports.

2000-2003

Training on panels in medium and layers.

2002

In order to insert gold nets on my imitations, meeting with Daniel Sievert, gilding manager at the Château,

who offered me to join the workshop of the Petite Ecurie.

2003

Integration in the gilding and decorative painting workshop of the Château, self-taught,

production of plinths to showcase works of art from the royal collections.

2004

Meeting with Pierre Lefumat during a complete visit of the castle and

setting up of training days in the rooms of the castle on closing day.

2004-2010

Various construction sites together in the workshop or in the castle.

2013 to present

Availability of the Château, creation of the workshop, various projects.

2019

Participation in the "Salon", international meeting of decorative painters in Chamonix.

Program:

They will first take place in black Perigord, a wonderful region both gastronomic and historical, a few hundred meters from the Lascaux cave (Sistine Chapel of Prehistory!)
Subsequently, courses will be organized in the town of Antibes on the Riviera, at the Footprints Workshop.

The brochure in PDF format will be available shortly (request it by message) indicating all the useful and practical information (transport, gites, hotels), dates, equipment to be provided, prices and the materials chosen.

More in the spirit of easel painting, the purpose of the techniques that will be implemented will allow us to "get into the matter" .
The imitation of marbles is a real adventure as nature is so rich in colors, graphics and details.

More focused in the search for composition, realism and gesture than speed, the training and then the production of panels will make it possible to use all techniques in acrylic and oil.
The use of different mediums makes it possible to obtain great transparency , and gives the imitation depth and vibrations.

Share together the pleasure of practicing this art intensely in a region rich in colors!

NB: During the course we will have the opportunity to watch Pierre Lefumat during the days spent together in the rooms of the castle.
